This conversion procedure requires MacOS!

• Conversion can be run on any Apple Macintosh or in a virtual machine.
• The requirements: MacOS OS-X 10.11 (El Capitan) or higher, 4Gb of Ram and an internet connection.
• Rekordbox and Traktor don't need to be installed on the MacOS.
• The whole conversion procedure only requires a few Mb's of storage space on the MacOS.
• Conversion speed depends on the computer's hardware. On average it takes a few minutes.
• The conversion source is a Traktor nml file, which can be emailed after compression (=zipping). The same applies to the resulting Rekordbo(DJCU).xml.
• The resulting Rekordbox(DJCU).xml can be imported in a Rekordbox Windows collection. It can not be used as source for further conversion to other DJ software.

The apps you need:

• DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU)
• Rekordbox, the free preparation version from Pioneer's site will do fine

What is converted?

• Cues with names and Traktor colors
• Loops with names and Traktor colors
• Rekordbox hot and memory banks are set identical
• Beatmarkers
• Bpm (Beats per minute)
• Track color
• Star ratings
• Folder and playlist structure from Traktor to Rekordbox
• All other metadata both platforms have in common such as genre, artwork, title etc.

You are in control

Select what combination of folders/playlists needs to be converted:

• A few singled out playlists containing a few hundred tracks which is converted in under a minute when emergency strikes
• Complex selections of both folders and playlists after the spring cleaning of your collection
• Entire collection of thousands of tracks
• Only tracks modified at or after a given date, effectively a sync option from one collection to another

Conversion by e-mail service

For those Windows users without access to a MacOS capable computer I offer an e-mail service.
This works for the conversions from Traktor Windows and Virtual DJ Windows to Rekordbox Windows.
Other conversion types are not possible because they require access to the audio track media files.
You mail me the Collection/Database file, I mail you back the Rekordbox(DJCU).xml.

The costs are base fee : € 10,- plus € 2,- for every 10.000 tracks in the collection to be transferred by PayPal in advance.

Example: a 40.000 tracks conversion costs € 10 + € 4*2 = € 18,-

This is a single conversion run, without any pre- or post-processing.
The resulting Rekordbox(DJCU).xml can only be imported in the Rekordbox collection that is installed on the same Windows computer the Traktor/VDJ source collection is installed on.
When I accept the job I can give you an exact turn around time.
Based on my agenda and the size of your collection this takes 2 hours on average.
